attune is a one-day participatory workshop exploring how technology can extend our ways of sensing and listening to the living world. Using microphones, environmental recording and low-tech sensors, participants encounter vibrations, sounds, textures and signals that often sit beyond or at the edges of everyday perception.
The workshop combines individual exploration with collective listening. Sounds and environmental signals are recorded and translated into sound and moving image, using tools such as TouchDesigner to experiment with how different forms of information can move between mediums.
Technology becomes part of the encounter: a bridge between human perception and processes that may otherwise remain difficult to notice. These translations are always partial. Sensors, microphones and digital systems shape what becomes perceptible, inviting us to consider what we are hearing, what remains inaccessible, and how our tools influence the relationships we form with our surroundings.
The day gradually moves from individual attention towards a shared composition. Sounds, images and impressions gathered by participants are brought together into an evolving audiovisual piece, creating a temporary collective portrait of a place through multiple ways of sensing it.
