NooN is an ongoing artistic collaboration between Clare Parker, Ric Byer, Willa Faulkner and Emilio Mula, working across sound, movement, moving image, performance and installation. Emerging from the development of Murmur, the collective has become a space for exploring how different practices can meet through improvisation and shared creative processes.

Projects often begin with a common territory of enquiry and develop through experimentation, conversation and making together. Ideas move between collaborators, changing direction as they encounter different artistic languages and ways of working. Improvisation plays an important role, creating situations where listening, responding and allowing space for the unexpected become part
of the composition.

This approach developed further through Taahm, an international collaboration with Thai sound artist Arnont Nongyao exploring caves, fungi, darkness and sound through field recording, performance and installation. The process established a shared language rooted in deep listening and working without knowing exactly where the material would lead.

NooN continues to develop as a space where authorship can remain fluid and the work emerges through relationships between people, materials, environments and ideas.
